Amager Western

Amager

I pass this building every day, when I go to pick up my kid from nursery. It is really trashed, but I love that feeling of old western salon, it possesses. And because of all the damage, it actually look a lot like a real western scene from a movie(except from all the graffiti of course).
And also the authenticity in the old signboards are so cool. It has served as a meat shop(I am not sure whether it was a butcher or not - it doesn't say), and a shoe shop.

I am not suggesting that we should live as people did in 1950, there is just something utterly cool about this building - I am sure it has hundreds of stories!

  1. I love the rustic vibe I get from these photos in Copenhagen. Thanks for sharing and drop by me too when you have time.

    Cheers.

  3. Virkelig fine billeder!

  6. @ the letters i wish i'd written, Yes! This building could be turned into the coolest space for all sorts of ûber cool things!
But the thing is, that the location of the building is in an area of town where it's most likely not to happen, unfortunately!
